A five-member delegation from the University of Szczecin, Poland, led by Professor Wojciech Drożdż, Dean of the Department of Logistics, visited Yancheng Institute of Technology (YCIT) on the afternoon of September 12, 2024.

During the visit, Professor Drożdż delivered an insightful lecture to faculty members and students from YCIT's School of Economics and Management. The presentation highlighted Poland's recent economic developments, energy sector growth, transportation infrastructure advancements, and international trade relations. Professor Drożdż also elaborated on Poland's economic ties with the European Union and explored potential avenues for strengthened collaboration with China. Following the lecture, Dean Li Zhengguang formally appointed Professor Drożdż as a "Visiting Professor" at YCIT.

Representatives from both institutions engaged in productive discussions regarding future academic partnerships. The talks yielded consensus on several collaborative initiatives, including student exchange programs, faculty academic visits, joint master's and doctoral degree programs, and international industry-academia-research cooperation.
