Recently, the Academic Degrees Evaluation Group of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and the National Steering Committee for Professional Degree Postgraduate Education successively released the results of the 2025 special qualification assessment for master’s degree programs. All seven master’s degree programs at YCIT—Materials Science and Engineering, Electronic Information, Resources and Environment, Energy and Power, Civil and Hydraulic Engineering, Biology and Medicine, and Transportation—passed the special qualification assessment with unanimous approval and have been granted continued authorization.

This unanimous approval fully affirms the quality of YCIT’s master’s degree programs in terms of their construction and talent cultivation. Taking this opportunity, the university will continue to strengthen the connotation development of its degree programs in line with the opinions and suggestions of the academic evaluation groups and education steering committees, further enhancing the quality of its degree programs and postgraduate education.
